Dr. J. Roger Accardi is a third generation pharmacist and has lived in Southwest Volusia County since 1957. Dr. Accardi graduated from the University of Florida originally in 1968 with degrees in chemistry and pharmacology. In 1999, Roger again graduated from the University of Florida with a Doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy. As well as President of Accardi Clinical Pharmacy, he is a Consultant Pharmacist, a lecturer, and an Associate Professor at the University of Florida. Dr. Accardi's past honors include being Orange City's Citizen of the Year in 1973 and being elected twice as Drug Topics magazine's "Pharmacist of the Year." Roger's greatest sources of pride are his daughter, Dr. Shannon Accardi-Miller, and his son, Mike Accardi. Shannon is a fourth generation Pharmacist in the Accardi family and Mike is the CEO of Accardi Clinical Pharmacy.

As the daughter of Dr. Roger Accardi, Dr. Shannon Miller is the fourth generation pharmacist in the Accardi family. She graduated from the University of Florida in 1996. After that, she completed a pharmacy primary care residency with Florida Hospital. As a consultant for Accardi Clinical Pharmacy, Shannon reviews patients' medical information and consults patients on drug interactions and proper care of their medication. Her primary employment is for Florida Hospital. Currently her main facility responsibilities include educating medical and pharmacy residents, rounding with physicians, didactic lecturing, research, and running pharmacy-managed, physician-directed Coumadin and Diabetes clinics.

Mike Accardi was also born and raised in Florida. After graduating college with a Hospitality Management degree in 1996, Mike went on to work for such companies as Clarion Hotel, Walt Disney World, and Ritz-Carlton Resorts. After moving to Atlanta in 1998, he became an analyst for Accenture Consulting Firm and Ernst & Young Consulting. Transitioning back into guest services, he joined Delta Air Lines working in Customer Care at their world headquarters in Atlanta. After three years with Delta, Mike decided to move back home with his wife so they could be around his family for the birth of his first child. Mike immediately went to work for Accardi Clinical Pharmacy as the Chief Executive Officer. Mike serves as Billing Manager, Chief Marketing Officer, as well as Human Resources Director.

JoAnn Huggins was born in Miami, Florida. She is married and has 5 wonderful children. She has over 25 years in the medical profession. As a Registered Medical Assistant, she has a vast knowledge and experience base in the fields of Cardiology, Oncology, Pulmonary, Urology, Injections, X-Ray, Venipuncture, and Durable Medical Equipment. JoAnn performs all her duties with the utmost integrity and dedication. Her discreet and personal approach to patients maintains calm levels for the patients even during times of anxiety.

Lynn King has been handling one of the most important duties here at Accardi Clinical Pharmacy for almost three years. As our delivery driver, and Lynn delivers approximately 80 medications to homebound patients everyday. Lynn is a dedicated employee whose kind heart and compassion make him a tremendous asset to our "family."

Melissa Cruz was born in New York, NY. She has lived in Florida for some time raising her two beautiful little girls and little boy. Melissa is bilingual in Spanish and has utilized this to expand her patient care. She has a vast knowledge of patient care from working many years in an assisted living facility. She makes an amazing addition to out team at Accardi Clinical Pharmacy.

Joey Bonanza was born in West Islip, NY and moved to Florida soon after. She has a beautiful 1 year old son and another child on the way. She has been married to John for 2 years. She has been working her part-time for some years, but recently was added full time to the team. Joey brings unique warmth and caring and will always have a kindhearted smile on her face. Joey is a fantastic addition to the team.

Val Wheeler was born in Methuen, Massachusetts. She moved to Florida with her family 12 years ago and now has a wonderful 1 year old son. She has been a pharmacy technician for 6 years specializing in insurance and Medicare Part D. She holds the first ever position of Pharmacy Technician Supervisor at Accardi Clinical Pharmacy for her immense knowledge and true caring ability.
