Accardi Clinical Pharmacy Is Innovative and Timely!

The mission statement of Accardi Clinical Pharmacy: as a health care team, to provide optimal pharmaceutical care in a patient-focused environment. To achieve these goals, the cornerstones are competency, reliability, fairness, and compassion.

Dr. J. Roger Accardi, an associate professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Florida, is the president and owner of Accardi Clinical Pharmacy.

This pharmacy offers more than any conventional pharmacy. A registered nurse initially interviews each new patient. This is followed by a meeting with one of the Doctors of Pharmacy to record their existing medications along with new prescriptions and focus on possible side effects, drug interactions, optimal times to administer their prescriptions, and the role of over-the-counter medications. If needed, a Pharmacy Care Plan is designed and these recommendations are faxed to the primary care physician for his/her review. A copy is also given to the patient.

This pharmacy with a heart goes beyond caring for your medical needs by caring for you as a unique person. Our staff serves each patient with kindness and courtesy. The Wellness Center provides a large, up-to-date selection of medical and pharmaceutical reading material, as well as videos for your assistance. An innovative pharmacy whose time has come, indeed!
